SHOW and Milonga in May at Made's Warung

Friday May 12, 2oo6, Made's Warung presented the show TANGO ENIGMATICO top-billed by Ogie Mendoza and Stefani K. The show featured traditional and tango nuevo styles bringing into fore the ability of the duo to combine both styles in one show. It was staged to a packed audience who were very appreciative as they applauded every number Ogie and Stefani presented. Milonga took place after, and the Bali tangueros poured into the floor to demonstrate their love and passion for the dance. Husband and wife Mel and Annie were in one table with some friends. Made. Ana, Douglas, Ellen and Nancy were joined in another table. Also spotted were German ladies Antje, Franziska and Sabine with Lola and visiting tangueros from Belgium Augusto and Sabrina. Peter and Isabella also came to lend their support to the club. Mark and Ricky came a bit late but were fully charged to dance the whole evening It was a magical night of tango as visiting guests from Argentina and the United States came to dance with our local tangueros. Acho from Mendoza,Argentina together with some friends made our ladies happy as they danced with them in true milonguero fashion. American lady Brenda, who's been into tango for seven years delighted our male tangueros with her skills. Towards the latter part of the evening, some high society guests from Jakarta came to drop by and joined in the excitement as Ogie and Stefani did an encore especially for them. Spotted were Ira Wibowo, Poppy Dharsono and a bunch of other ladies all dressed to the nines as they came from another function by the Indonesian Tattler. The party ended on a high note as Latin music were played sending everyone into the dance floor till 1;30 in the morning. Dancing to jive, salsa, cha cha and tango everyone came dropping to their seats in exhaustion. Congratulation's Made, Ogie, Stefani and the Tango Bali Club for a beautiful evening of entertainment, fun and tango. Bravo! Otra!
