Shasto & Maria

The initial presentation of Tango Bali Club - Casa Artista's "Special Tango Week-end" drew favorable response from its club members and visiting tangueros, making the event a remarkable success. Shastro & Maria came out as great teachers with their full mastery of the milonguero style. Their methodical approach to teaching and discussing the elements involved in the 6-hour workshop made it easier for students to understand the finer points of walking, connection, timing and musicality and the embrace. It was refreshing specially for the intermediate/advanced students to once again be re-introduced to the basic understanding of Tango.

The welcome and farewell milongas were warmly received by the participants. Guests were treated to two fantastic dinners tendered in typical Bali fashion. Everyone enjoyed the Tango ambience which made it easier for participants to relate to one another in pursuit of their passion.

Casa Artista's "Special Tango Week-end" has indeed made it happen. Tango in Bali will never be the same again.
